Getting Started
Getting started online can be a bit frustrating as the learning curve can be very steep, especially if you have no experience of building wesbites or any kind of marketing experience.
One of the most popular ways to get a quick online presence is to create a blog for yourself. This is a great way to share your experiences and expertise with your chosen audience. So to begin with we are going to kick off with getting set up for Blogging.
The aim of this short course is to show you how to get yourself a website up and running, without having to spend tons of cash in the process and hopefully will take away some of the pain and wondering how to do some of the techie stuff.
Steve’s Tip:
As someone who really struggled with the techie stuff when I first started out, my advise is simple, if you can’t do something or it takes you ages to do, pay someone a few dollars or pounds and get it set up so you can concentrate on your business rather than faffing about.
To give you an example, I am not a very good graphics designer and I need graphics all the time. So I outsource my work to a couple of great designers, who do a great job, they do it on time and it costs me far less than it would in time if I were determined to do it myself….and they do a better job than I ever could.
If you get stuck after watching any of the videos, feel free to leave a comment or drop me a line and I’ll be happy to help. If you want me to do it for you, drop me a line and we can have a chat about it.
